The 30secs Rule: How I Trick My ADHD Brain Into Starting Anything (Even the Damn Dishes)
A tiny mental reset I use to break through task paralysis — no motivation required.

You ever just… stare at a dish in the sink for three hours?
Like, your brain knows it takes 12 seconds to wash it. But for some reason, it becomes this giant wall of resistance. You do literally anything else — scroll, pace, stare at a wall — but that one dish? Nope. Untouchable.
What’s helped me: tell myself I only have to touch the dish. Not wash it. Just touch it. Stupid? Yep. But it breaks the wall. And 9 out of 10 times, I finish it without thinking.
Brains are weird, man.
